Testimony Abt My Son Who Was Operated on Twice In 3 days @ 1yr 9mnths in CE Southern Africa
In January 2010 we noticed something unusual about my son who was 1yr 7mnths then. We took him to the hospital and we were told he had a certain hernia which led to scrotum swelling. When they examined it, they said that there was a certain tube that was too wide and so it was passing the intestines down to his scrotum thus the swelling. The tube was only supposed to pass the sperm duct. We were told that the problem could be corrected by just a small procedure / operation. We were booked for operation at Princess Marina Hospital, Gaborone. We were admitted at the hospital on the 8th of March and was told that the following day I should not feed him after 2100hrs. We went to theatre on the morning of the 10th. He was taken in at 11am and brought back to me at 1230noon. He was sleeping, still under the influence of the drug they gave him.
When awake, I was told not to give him solid food but only liquids. I gave him milk, he vomited it, gave him juice and it also came back, gave him water and same story. He was in so much pain as he was also circumcised. They gave him an oral painkiller and he vomited it also. He started vomiting at 1600pm all through the night. I notified the nurses and they told me to wait for the Dr who would be making rounds in the morning. When my parents came to check on us, I could not go out to see them as I had cried the whole night. Instead I sent an elderly woman who I was sharing the room with. She had been awake with me the whole night as all this happened. Mum then notified her aunt who is a matron at the hospital. She was not on duty but she came to the hospital to see what was happening. She looked for the Dr who had operated my son and he came with a team of other Drs.
They took him into a consultation room within the ward, they were there for about an hour, when they came back, they told me to move from where I was placed and put me at a cubicle opposite the nurses’ desk. It was now the 11th and they told me that they felt some liquid in his tummy and they said he should be okay by the following day. As the day went by, the situation worsened. Early morning on the 12th, his Dr was at the ward to check on him, he then called me in to the matron’s room and told me that they have to take the baby back to the theatre and it was a matter of emergency. We went to theatre at 1300hrs and my son had not urinated ever since he was operated on the 10th. They gave him back to me at 1700hrs. He had a tube through his nose to the tummy, a tube on his left and right side of the tummy, a catheter, antibiotic drip, and feeding drip. It was a horrible sight on a 1yr 9months baby.
They told me that during the 1st operation, they mistakenly removed the bladder instead of the hernia, explaining that an empty bladder looks like a hernia. They say that when they realized it was the bladder they had removed, they put it back and took out the right thing. So they said it means the bladder was affected when 1st removed. So from the time he came from theatre on the 10th, all through the 11th and the 12th before we went back to theatre, urine had been spilling into his stomach and so had corroded some of the internal organs. They cleaned it up and assured me that they have now stitched up the bladder and had put a catheter instead so that it could pass out all liquid that gets to the bladder as the bladder needed about 2 weeks to heal. They told me that he needed a pint of blood as his Hb count was at 2.6, but they reported that there was no blood in the hospital so they had put in an order with the blood bank. We only got that blood on the evening of 13th that is after a full 24hours.
His temperature ranged from 41 to 43, they told me that since he could not take anything through his mouth, and there was no any other drug they could give him as they did not have such in the hospital. I asked for a prescription and his dad went to purchase it from a private hospital. When he eventually gained consciousness on the 15th, the 1st word that he said was AMEN. He had looked at the trolley by his bedside and saw the books “Healing from Heaven” and “Rhapsody of Realities” by Pastor Chris and Pastor Anita. He loves Pastor Chris so much but as he was still not perfect with his speech, he called Pastor Chris “Amen”. It was the 1st edition of the ‘’Healing from Heaven’’ and in there was a full length picture of Pastor Chris and that’s the page he wanted. He also wanted a picture of Pastor Chris from the Rhapsody but not any other picture but the picture where Pastor Chris was stretching forth his hand. So I would open those pages and hold them towards him until he fell asleep. Without those books open, he would cry until they gave him a certain drug called Pethedin. It would help him sleep. But when he woke up, he wanted his “Amen”. I believed that in the spiritual realm something great was happening. The same anointing that the Man of God carries, he has imparted it into all these ministry materials that have been produced. So I believed that as he was looking at the pictures of the Man of God, a Spiritual operation was taking place, because he would be so calm and concentrative. At times he demanded the books to be left on his chest and he would just fall into deep sleep without the aid of the Pethedin.
When people in the ward saw what impact the books had on my son, they started demanding for the books, they read them and you know, everyone had a story to relate with and they personalized them and people started being discharged from the cubicle that I was in. All most all of them were not born again but because they had seen what had happened with my son; they started believing and thus claiming the healings for their kids. We were also released and he was fully recovered and in the full and normal use of his bladder and today he calls himself Pastor Papi. I really thank God for my son’s healing and it also strengthened my faith as his mother. He is now 3 years 1 month and such a happy and lively boy. Pastor Chris and Pastor Anita, thank you for the Ministry materials. They are such a great blessing.
